Patricia Anne Folk

Patricia Anne Folk, age 74, of Frederick, passed away on August 26th, 2018.  She was the wife of the late Robert S. Folk.  Born in Richmond, Virginia on October 3, 1943 she was the daughter of Anne Smith and the late Gordon Culley.

Patricia was an office manager for a physicians group for many years. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was an avid reader who loved getting lost in many books.  As a pet lover, she found great comfort in spending time with her son’s golden retriever during her final years.

She is survived by her son, Allen Andrews and wife Tammy of Frederick, daughters, Patricia Ann Folk of Herndon, Virginia, and Margaret Harmon and husband Larry of Waynesville, North Carolina, grandchildren, Brittnie Andrews and Maggie Kehr, two great grandchildren Joel Penalba, Jr. and Miah Andrews, sisters, Beth Hunter, and Laura Colburn,  brothers, Walter Smith and Raif “Mack” Smith, Jr. She was the mother of the late Theresa Kehr, and the sister of the late Janice MacKown.

A receiving of friends will begin at 2 p.m. with memorial services at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Keeney Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Rev. Franklin Bishop will officiate. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to a charity of choice or the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va, 23060.
