Henry "Hank" P. Stull, age 88 of Frederick, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy L. (Wright) Stull who he married on March 12, 1955. Born on July 19, 1930 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Walter S. & Mary V. (Engelbrecht) Stull.Mr. Stull was a longtime member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Frederick. He was in the Leaders Bible Class where he served as a class secretary for many years. He was a graduate of Frederick High School in the class of 1948. He served in the CE-USAR Ready Reserve from 1950 to 1958 and was a company supply sergeant upon his discharge. He was an avid reader about the Civil War. Additionally he spent time as a reenactor portraying a confederate private in most of all the local battlefields in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Lastly, in his later years he enjoyed his vegetable garden and making sketches and paintings of building in the Frederick area as well as painting duck decoys.In addition to his wife, Mr. Stull is survived by his son Philip M. Stull of Frederick, many cousins in the Lewistown, MD area, and many nieces and nephews on the East Coast and two nephews locally, Walt Stull of Brunswick and Juan Stull of Jefferson.A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 1 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. For those wishing to attend please meet at the FSK historic chapel by 12:45. Rev. Shannon Sullivan from Calvary United Methodist Church will officiate.
