Scott Gregory Lach

February 1, 1971 — June 24, 2018

Scott Gregory Lach, age 47, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. Born in Olney, MD on February 1,1971 he was the son of William J. and Patricia Howard Lach, of Frederick, MD.
Scott grew up in Frederick and was a graduate of Thomas Johnson High School. He worked for many years as a waiter in New Orleans. After losing everything to hurricane Katrina he moved and worked throughout the country. His outgoing personality served him well both personally and professionally throughout his life. He loved being surrounded by his friends and family-and those friends he came to call family. Scott will fondly be remembered as a trustworthy and helpful friend, an animal lover, free spirit, social butterfly, and artistic soul. He loved to cook, garden, and take care of his animals. His laughter and humor will be missed.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters, Heather Zeigler and husband David, of Sykesville and Jessica Lach-Moore, of Frederick, several nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will also be missed by his close friends Gina Click, Elaine Llewellyn and Michael Barnes.
The family will hold a private service. To help keep his memory alive, Scott would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone else in his name.
