Margaret Elizabeth Miller

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Tucker Miller, 94, of Frederick, went to be with her Lord Saturday, May 5, 2018, at her home. She was the wife of the late Albert Louis Miller, who died March 29, 1993.

Born in Knoxville on September 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Annie Holmes Tucker. She worked as a server at Betty's Restaurant on East Street and a personal companion for several families until retirement in 1999. She attended The New Life Church for the past 46 years, a devout Christian who took part in various church activities and especially loved volunteering in the church nursery. She enjoyed baking, embroidering, visiting with family, watching Baltimore Orioles, attending Frederick Lions Little League games for which her son, Danny has been a long time coach.

Surviving are her sons Jerome Tucker, Danny Miller, daughter Anna Marie Brookins, granddaughters Gwenn , Melissa, Leah and grandson Keith. Elizabeth also leaves behind 7 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brother, Charles Tucker, sister, Evelyn Jennings, son, Paul Tucker, and daughter, Susan Kornacki.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 Friday, May 11, 2018 at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at The New Life Church, 5913 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, with Pastors Dave Hendershot and L.E. Fuss officiating. Interment will be in the Reformed Cemetery, Knoxville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family to assist with medical and funeral expenses.
