Nancy Louise Brubaker

August 25, 1942 — March 11, 2018

Nancy Louise Viola Brubaker passed away on Sunday March 11, 2018 at home surrounded by caring staff. She was born on August 25, 1942 in Jefferson, Maryland to her parents Russel l and Viola Brubaker. Nancy has lived in a home with Community Living, Inc. since 1980. She worked for many years at the Jeanne Bussard Center and attended Community Living’s Retirement Our Way (ROW) program.

Nancy has left many beautiful memories for all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Most people would say she was a “firecracker.” She loved country music, dancing, and her special friend ‘Winnie the Pooh.” Nancy always had a smile and made people smile. People always wanted her to be happy. Everyone knew what she liked and made sure she had it.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves many friends, including her long time housemate Eleanor. Her dedicated caregivers will miss her but have many fond memories of her.
