Evelyn M. Fry

Mrs. Evelyn M. Fry, 90, of Jefferson, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Casey House.  She was the wife of the late Warren Fry, who preceded her in death in 2004.  They were married for 57 years.

Born July 28, 1927, in Frederick, she was the daughter of William and Lillian (Fout) Kline.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Judy Byerly (Tom) and Jean Lloyd (Jim), grandchildren, Michael Lloyd (Becky), Stephen Lloyd (Emily) and Allison Lloyd, two great-grandchildren, Cate and Will, several nieces and nephews and multiple caregivers.

Evelyn had a zest for life. What gave her the most pleasure was being a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

The family will receive friends from 10AM to 11AM, on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701.  The funeral service will immediately follow at 11 AM.  The Reverend Emily Lloyd will be officiant.  Interment will follow at Jefferson Reformed Cemetery.
