Carol Ann Gaynor

Mrs. Carol Ann Gaynor, age 77 of Adamstown passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Northampton Manor in Frederick. She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years Joe Gaynor. Born on May 7, 1940 in Libertytown, she was the daughter of the late Grayson and Belvia Biddinger.

Mrs. Gaynor was a graduate of Frederick High School. She worked at the Ballenger Creek Roy Rogers as a cashier. She was a long time member of the Carroll Manor Fire Company Auxiliary spending many long hours volunteering for them.

Mrs. Gaynor is the mother of Joann Smith and husband Chuck, Dee Dietz and husband Rick, Ginger Bruce and husband Tracey, and George Gaynor, Jr. and wife Nancy, the grandmother of 4 and the great-grandmother of 3. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gaynor is preceded in death by her grandson Bradley Fritz and granddaughter Autum Smith.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 3 to 7 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11 AM. The interment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
