Betty Weller Naugle

Mrs. Betty Weller Naugle, 90, of Frederick passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017, at The Village of Rockville, where she had been a resident. She was the wife of the late Rev. Vernon I. Naugle, a Lutheran minister having served churches in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Born in Ickesburg, PA, on February 8, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Clark J. and Ethel Grubb Weller. She was a very active member in the churches her husband served.
Surviving her are her two children, Beth Summers and husband, Dale and Timothy Naugle and wife Catharine, all of Frederick.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and private interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick, MD.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, 61 Seminary Ridge, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
