Mr. Lawrence "Larry" Lewis Crotts, age 61, long time resident of Viers Mill Village, currently of Frederick, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017. He is survived by his lifelong and loving partner Debbie Knapp who he was with for 20 years. Born on August 2, 1956 in Washington DC, he was the son of Grace C. Crotts and the late Cody F. Crotts.
Larry was a professional craftsman, carpenter and millworker. He had a passion for building and refinishing furniture and could fix just about anything. He loved to be outdoors hiking and camping. He had a generous and thoughtful heart and loved his entire family deeply. Over the last number of years, he suffered greatly from many illnesses that kept him from doing the things he loved but he was very strong and fought hard. It's a blessing to know that he is now at peace and with Our Lord.
Larry Crotts was the adoring father of Bonnie P. Pulise and husband Cris of Aldie, VA, grandfather of Sebastian, Maximus, Isabella and Cecelia, and the brother of Donna Stone and husband Richard, Gregory Crotts and wife Linda and Dennis Crotts and wife Mary. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Jennifer, Wendy, Katie, Sara, Corrina, Chuck, and Mike.
A memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11 AM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Deacon John L. Manley will officiate. The interment will be private.
