Nellie Kathleen Main

Mrs. Nellie Kathleen (Kemp) Main, 96, of Frederick, died Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Glade Valley Center Nursing Home, Walkersville. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Martin Main.

Born September 24, 1920 in Jefferson, she was the daughter of the late Millard J. and Virgie M. (Easterday) Kemp.

Kathleen was a loving, caring person. She was a homemaker, her hobbies were baking delicious desserts and crocheting beautiful items.

Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bessie (Kemp) White.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8pm, on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will held at 11:00AM, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in the Etchison Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Robert Driver-Bishop will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
