Helen Marie Miller

Mrs. Helen Marie Miller, 91, of Frederick, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Frederick Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Miller. Born in Frederick on March 31, 1926, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Mary E. Rothenhoefer Jones.
She was retired from Frederick County Public Schools and had worked in food service for several local schools. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the auxiliary of the Francis Scott Key American Legion.
Surviving is her son, Dwayne Miller and fiancee, Sherry of Frederick, two sisters, her twin, Marie H. Hemp, of Jefferson and Nancy Royal, of Frederick, grandchildren, Danielle "Nikki" Bailey and husband Kevin, Erik Miller and wife Michelle, great grandchildren, Devin, Marissa, Cheyenne and Lily Mae, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline Bowlus, Louise Strine and Tillie Legore.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m., on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, July 17, 2017, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
