Helen Rowena Patton

August 5, 1918 — June 27, 2017

Mrs. Helen DeLauter Patton, 98, of Frederick, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Buckingham's Choice. Twice married she was the wife of the late Mark L. "Bink" DeLauter and the late Philip J. Patton, Jr. Born in Frederick on August 5, 1918, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Lillian Engelbrecht Willard.

She was a life long member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Frederick.

Surviving are her sons, Casey DeLauter and wife Doris, of Frederick, and Mark DeLauter and wife Jane, of Versailles, KY, one brother, Daniel S. Willard, of Tampa, FL and one sister, Avalon Berkebile and husband Bob, of Frederick, three grandchildren, Cheryl DeLauter, Christopher DeLauter and Stephanie Bittner and husband Chris, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, July 10, 2017 in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Those wishing to attend should assemble inside the main gate of the cemetery by 10:45 AM. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
