Mr. Bryan Keith Fox, 59, of Frederick, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017. He was the husband of Terry Lee Bowers Fox. Born in Frederick on December 23, 1957, he was the son of the late Betty Fox Blentlinger. He was raised by his aunt and uncle, the late Linwood and Beverly Jones.
Bryan spent most of his life as a truck driver and had worked for Mrs. Smith's Pies and Antietam Automotive. He was a graduate of Thomas Johnson High School class of 1975, also he was a tournament bowler and a former volunteer fire fighter at United Fire Company # 3.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Jason Fox and fiancee Carolyn, of New Market, Jamie Dorsey and husband Dameon, of Hagerstown, Crystal McClure, of Frederick and Andrew McClure and wife Joy, of Rockville, siblings, Sonya Boyer and William Blentlinger, nine grandchildren, Joseph, Jaxy, Kameron, Joseph, Devon, Ashley, Michael, Makayla and Makenzie, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered by his mother-in-law, Betty Bowers, of Frederick, his aunt, Dorothy Price and special friends, Dick Gainer, Risa Jewell and Rose Ruff. He was preceded in death by his dog Rufus and father-in-law, James Bowers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, June 9, 2017, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
