Robert Finneyfrock

Robert Milton “Bobby” Finneyfrock, 68, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. He was the husband of 49 years to Marthena Rebecca (Hoffman) Finneyfrock.

Born on October 10, 1948 in Middle River, Baltimore County, MD, he was the son of the late Bernard Wilson and Ruth (Hamilton) Finneyfrock. Bobby was a 1967 graduate of Overlea High School. Bobby owned and operated several businesses in Frederick County, including Frederick Siding and Gutter and three Finney’s Lounge locations. He also worked at Watkins Johnson Electronic Products in Gaithersburg and Frederick Electronics. He was a longtime member of All Saint’s Episcopal Church. He enjoyed fishing and boating, and loved going crabbing along the Chesapeake Bay with his son.

In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by his son, Bradley Wade Finneyfrock; daughter, Sarah Siobhan-Marie Finneyfrock Derge and husband Benjamin; brother, Larry Finneyfrock; sisters, Della Rott and Janet Gavazzi; grandchildren, Ella Anastasia Derge and Thomas Atlas Derge; brother-in-law, Lyle E. Hoffman and wife Margaret; sister-in-law, Barbara E. Kline and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Bernard “Bernie” Finneyfrock; an infant son; and his brothers, Wade Finneyfrock and wife Sue, and David Finneyfrock.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2pm at All Saint’s Episcopal Church, 106 W. Church St., Frederick, Maryland.
