Robert Lee Lamm, Sr

?Mr. Robert Lee Lamm Sr, age 78 of Frederick, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017. He was the husband of the late Rebecca "Becky" Payne Lamm. Born on March 21, 1939 in Point of Rocks he was the son of the late Alonza and Minnie Lamm.

Mr. Lamm was a barber and a partner of the Plaza Barber Shop in Leesburg, VA, retiring and selling his share of the business late last year. Before purchasing his own barber shop he worked in and around Potomac, Maryland for over 20 years. In his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycles and even raced motorcycles when he was younger. He was a former member of the Heart of America Motorcycle club and active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Mr. Lamm was the father of Karen Cooper and husband Mark of Frederick, Robert "Rob" Lamm, Jr. and wife Kathy of Frederick, and John Lamm and wife Debbie of Elgin, Texas; the grandfather of Katrina Cooper, Robert Lamm, III, Becky Lamm Fritz, and Tina Lamm Turner. He is also survived by his special friend Yunson Kim.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers Charles Lamm and William Barrett and 3 sisters Helen Moore, Mildred Legg and Ginny Barrett.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 10 - 11 AM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 11 AM. Joe Legg will officiate. The interment will follow in the St. Paul's Cemetery, Point of Rocks.
