Timothy Plummer Crawford, 68, died April 25, 2017, at his home in Buckeystown, Maryland. He was born on April 12, 1949 to Dorothy (Dot) Plummer Crawford and late George Thomas Crawford of Germantown, MD.
As a youth, Tim was a 4-H member showing dairy cattle at the Montgomery County Fair. He was a dairy farmer in Germantown and then in the 1980’s moved his farm to Buckeystown. Tim was a lifelong member of the Maryland-Virginia Milk Producers Association. At the time of his passing, Tim was employed at the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission in Montgomery County, for over 20 years. Tim loved tractors, Westerns, dogs, and finding new restaurants.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, of 47 years, Gail (Nelson) Crawford and two daughters, Kimberly Crawford of Buckeystown and Jacquline Myers of Hagerstown. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy P. Crawford, of Crestwood Village, Frederick, his brother G. Thomas Crawford and wife, Terry, of Adamstown, his niece, Christy Lynch and husband, Matt, his nephew Mike Crawford and wife, Sarah, all of Adamstown, and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, George T. Crawford.
Family and friends can gather at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church St., Frederick, MD 21701, on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10am until the start of the memorial service at 11am, Reverend Ron Reaves will be officiating. Interment will be private.
