Bernard H. Culler

February 8, 1920 — April 12, 2017

Bernard H. Culler, age 97 of Frederick, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Vindobona Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Charlotte (Young) Culler who passed away in 1980. Born on February 8, 1920 in Feagaville he was the son of the late Kurtz Elias and Mary Ellen (Houck) Culler.

Mr. Culler was a lifelong farmer and was a 50 year member of the Farm Bureau.

Mr. Culler is survived by his sons, Dennis B. Culler, Michael T. Culler and Bruce E. Culler and wife Elaine, his granddaughters Danielle and Emilie and his sister Belva K. Fry. In addition to his wife and parents, he is also predeceased by his two daughter-in-laws Judy and Roxanne Culler and his siblings Clyde H. Culler, Roland K. Culler, Susie E. Loun, Paul M. Culler, Betty J. Rouche, and Eva E. Wahl. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Shirley Eshelman for all her loving care.

Friends will be received on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Funeral Services are planned for Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 5463 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD 21703. The interment will follow St. Luke's Cemetery, adjacent to the church. Contributions may be made in Mr. Culler's name to either Mt. Zion Lutheran Church or St. Luke's Lutheran Church at the above address.
