Dillon Louis Papier, 14 of Urbana passed away on April 6, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Dillon’s brave battle against a rare disease inspired hundreds of community members and supporters in Maryland to form Dillon’s Army to raise funds for NPC research. He will be missed by his loving parents, Mark and Darrile Papier, grandparents Maris Walker, Alvin and Jan Walker, family, friends, teachers, classmates, doctors and nurses. Dillon lived an extraordinary and meaningful life. His spirit and his love for life were felt by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held 2:30pm on Sunday, April 9 th from the Urbana High School Auditorium, 3471 Campus Drive, Urbana with Cantor Michael Zoosman, officiating. Graveside interment services will be held at 10:30am on Monday, April 10 at Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchelors Forest Rd, Olney, Maryland 20832. Those attending are encouraged to celebrate Dillon by wearing “Dillon’s Army” or favorite baseball attire to these events.
