Dorothea Lucille Greenfield

August 9, 1930 — March 14, 2017

Mrs. Dorothea Lucille Greenfield, 86, of Frederick and formerly of Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Golden Living Center. She was the wife of the late Ernest P. Greenfield. Born in Frederick on August 9, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Charles Henry and Lela Carty Fitez.

She had worked for 23 years at American Optical Company in Frederick. She had attended the Southend Baptist Church.
Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and caregivers of the Golden Living Center.
Surviving are her children, Sherry L. Greenfield, of Brunswick, and E. Wayne Greenfield and wife Julia, of Braddock Heights, grandson, James Greenfield, two step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren, She was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy A. Phelps and two brothers, Robert E. and James D. Fitez.

Private services with interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home. Frederick.
