Charles Everett Ramsburg, Jr.

Mr. Charles Everett Ramsburg, age 79 of Frederick died on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Evie, as everyone knew him, was the son of Charles E. Ramsburg, Sr. and Katherine Ramsburg Divers, both deceased.

Mr. Ramsburg is survived by his wife Peggy Riggles Ramsburg; they were married for 53 years. He is also survived by his son Patrick Ramsburg and wife Sue; grandchildren Jeffrey, his caretaker Tom, Chance and wife Kristina; great-grandchildren Nyana, Brynna, Gia, Little Chance; grandson Zac and wife Alexis and great-grandson Hunter. He is also survived by his brothers Tom, and wife Sandy, and Gavin, and wife Pam, his cousin Linda who was like a dear sister, dear nephew Rick Toms and wife Pam, niece Dawn and husband Eddie, niece Debbie Peterson and husband Wayne, son-in-law Ronnie Powell, Sister-in-law Carol and husband Art , brother-in-law Larry and wife Maureen, dear dear neighbors, Betsy, Jamie, Jason, Taylor, and Tim; 2 sister-in-laws Helen & Vivian, his daughter died in 2010 and he missed her everyday of his life "Marcy Powell" can now see her dad forever!

Mr. Ramsburg served in the U.S. Navy and National Guard. A celebration of his life will be held in the spring. Arrangements by the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, Frederick.
