Janet Lee Misner

Mrs. Janet Lee (Winpigler) Misner, of Frederick, died Monday, February 27, 2017 at her residence. She was the wife of Alan V. Misner for 48 years.

Born in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mamie (Buckheimer) Winpigler.

Janet was raised in Frederick and graduated from Frederick High School. She loved camping, sports and Nascar. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Ronald Stull and wife Nada, Tina Rippeon and husband Mike and Penny Bussard and husband Mike, grandchildren, Nicky Boland, Walter Stull, Alanmichael Rippeon, Lilly Bussard and Caitlyn Bussard, great-grandson, Aiden Boland, sister, Anita Tobery and husband Donald, nephews, Chris Tobery and wife Kathy, Jason Tobery and wife Julie, and Billy Winpigler and wife Laurie, niece, Missy Winpigler, special friends, Pat Mossburg, Geraldine Stitley and Mary Mercer, numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Winpigler and Buddy Winpigler.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM, on Friday, March 3, 2017, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Pastor Tim Shatzer will officiate.Inurnment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
