Mr. Randall Wayne Boone, 69, of Lime Kiln, was promoted to heaven on June 18, 2016. He was the husband of 51 years to Jenny Boone. Born on August 18, 1946, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Robert Boone, Sr. and Ruth Oden.

He enjoyed traveling in the summer to their trailer at Steamboat Landing in Lewes, Delaware and enjoyed going to the Williams Grove Steam Engine show in Pennsylvania every September. Wayne loved playing 500 Rummy with his wife Jenny - she says he still owes her money, and he also enjoyed going away to Charles Town, West Virginia to play cards. He was a very devoted Pop Pop to his great-grand kids and loved spending time with his "peoples" on Friday and Saturday nights. Mr. Boone was a MacGyver of sorts he could fix anything with a broomstick, duct tape and a mud flap. He will be remembered by special friends Ronnie Printz, Billy Butler, Reds and Dawn.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Randall Boone Jr. and wife Barbara of Buckeystown, Son-in-law Gary Shankle of Walkersville, Grandchildren Karen Saylor and husband Brandon of Woodsboro, Kimberly Harrison and husband Josh of Woodsboro, Randall Boone, III of Buckeystown and James Boone and fiance Mari Beth Hart of Germantown as well as Great-Grandchildren Kami and Karli Harrison and Jackson Boone.
