Patricia Ann Cregger

Mrs. Patricia Ann Norwood Cregger, 83, of Thurmont, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late William Claude Cregger, Sr., who died on December 29, 2002. They were married for 53 years and this was the only man who got all her love. Born in Frederick on March 2, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Ambrose and Lillie Bere Norwood.
She had worked for may years as a seamstress for Sagners Clothing Factory. She was a member of the St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, in Frederick. She had great love for her entire family, and enjoyed camping and cooking.
Surviving are her children, Larry W. Cregger and wife Bonnie, of Walkersville, and Cheri Cregger Rhoderick and husband Ike, of Frederick, eight grandchildren, William "Butch" Rhoderick, Stacey Orye, Amanda Rhoderick, Kenneth W. Cregger, Jeffery A. Cregger, Christopher M. Cregger, Josh M. Cregger and Patricia L. Stewart, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, William Claude Cregger, Jr., and siblings, Alvey M. Norwood, Elverna Norwood, Bernard T. Norwood, William H. Norwood and Geraldine Norwood.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at the funeral home. Pastor Christopher Cregger, her grandson, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
