Jay T. Swecker

Mr. Jay T. Swecker, 69, of Brunswick, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Martha Inez Christian Swecker. Born in Tennessee on February 7, 1947, he was a son of the late John Glenn and Maggie Russell Swecker.

He worked for a landscaping firm as a tree trimmer. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles Club, in Brunswick.

Surviving are his children; Jay T. Swecker, Jr., and Angela, Troy Guinn, April Swecker, Mary Burton and Richard and Janie Poppe, siblings, Johnny Swecker and Brenda, Jimmy Swecker and Fay, Tiny Terran and Charlotte Gates, 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in the Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick.
