Mrs. Patsy "Pat" Ann Reifsnider, (72) of Clover Hill in Frederick, MD passed away on 31 October 2015. She was the wife of Nelson Donovan "Donnie" Reifsnider for 52 years. She was the only child ofPhyllis Horman Shepley Bowlus andthe late Marvin Paul "Shep" Shepley. Born on February 2, 1943 and raised in Frederick, she attended St. JohnCatholic Grade School and graduated from St. John Literary Institute at Prospect Hall in 1961. Pat began volunteering, and subsequently working fulltime, at St. John Regional Catholic School when her youngest daughter entered the school. She was a volunteer in classrooms, the cafeteria, or wherever needed. Her dedication to the school was acknowledged when she received the Distinguished Graduate Award in 2007. Her "kids" affectionately called her "Mrs. R." Her devotion and love for these and all children knew no bounds. Children were her life. She never met a child that she couldn't love. Pat also was a receptionist and devoted employee at the Keeney-Basford Funeral Home for the past 20 years. Surviving in addition to her husband Don are children: Lorie Ann Reifsnider of Emmitsburg, Michael Lee Reifsnider and wife, Kelly of Aurora, Colorado, Nicole Denise Fer and husband Paul of Clover Hill, and Patti Lynn Reifsnider of Emmitsburg. She is also survived by 4 grandsons, Justin Mark Tamminga of Emmitsburg, Andrew David Fer and Daniel Anthony Fer (twins) and Nathan Thomas Fer of Clover Hill. She also has one very special granddaughter, Angeline Grace Gorman. She is also leaving a long list of friends especially Christina Hurley, Dana Dunn, Louise Dice, and her lunch buddies. She was preceded in death by her father and twin sons Neil Donovan and Nelson David Reifsnider. The family will receive friends at Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9. A funeral Mass will be held at St. John Catholic Church, 118 E. 2nd Street, Frederick, on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11AM. Father Lawrence Frazier will officiate. Interment will be private at a later date.
