Lena Grace Fogle

February 5, 1931 — October 15, 2015

Ms. Lena Grace (Weddle) Fogle, 84, of Frederick, died on October 15 at Citizen's Care and Rehabilitation Center, Frederick. Born on February 5, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Ira Jacob and Grace (Fisher) Weddle. Ms. Fogle was a member of Frederick Church of the Brethren. Her work career spanned many decades and included Price Electric, Ames and Engage. She also was responsible, at one time, for taking care of making sure St. Timothy's Church in Frederick was clean. She enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of her yard on Old Swimming Pool Road as well as her dog Ginger. Lena never had children of her own, but she loved and took care of her niece Rayna as her own daughter. Lena is survived by her nieces, Jane Grove and Rayna Bowie as well as great-nieces Racheal Norwood and Raziel Norwood as well a great-nephew Davonte Pearson. She is also survived by a number of other nieces and nephews as well. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 18 from 6-8 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 19 at 2:00 PM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Harmony Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Myersville.
