Mattie Henderson Cornpropst died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Buckingham's Choice, Adamstown, Maryland. Her husband, Harry Edward Cornpropst, predeceased her on June 1, 1992. She is survived by her nieces and devoted friends. Mrs. Cornpropst was a retired school teacher who taught 4th grade in Frederick County for 36 years. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Attendees will gather at the FSK Chapel in the cemetery. Rev. Dr. Larry Eubanks will officiate. Arrangements by Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick.
