Mrs. Elizabeth Lillian Angleberger, 85, of Frederick, passed away at home, Sunday morning, June 8th, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Monroe Paul Angleberger, her husband of 68 years. Born, August 6, 1928, in Frederick County, the former Elizabeth L. Cook, was the daughter of the late Lillian May Cook and Raymond Franklin Cook of Frederick. Surviving in addition to her husband, are three sons, Steve R. Angleberger, and wife Elaine, of Frederick; Ronald E. Angleberger, of Frederick; Jeffery P. Angleberger, and wife Liliana, and children, Mallory and Sasha of Middletown; granddaughter, Jennifer Obsborne, and husband, Darin, of Frederick; great grandson Devin Angleberger, of Frederick; sisters Betty Reynolds, of Frederick and Nancy and husband Melvin, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Raymond and Wilbur Cook. Elizabeth was a devoted mother, home maker and worked at various jobs throughout her life, including 20 years with Frederick County Public Schools. She will be remembered for her selfless heart, unwavering love for her children, homemaking and fantastic cooking skills. She enjoyed dining out, flower gardening and being outdoors. She was loved by all and will be missed by many. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 11th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 12th at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
