Mrs. Mary Louise (Hawker) Davis, 81, of Frederick, died Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the Randolph Lee "Randy" Davis for 59 years. Born May 23, 1932, in Jefferson, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Pauline (Tribby) Hawker. Mrs. Davis enjoyed vacations at the cabin in Edwards Ferry, golfing in her spare time, spending time with her loving children and grandchildren and her dog Toto. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Randy Davis, daughter, Bonnie Griffith and husband Randall, brothers, Richard "Dickie" Hawker and wife Peggy, Joseph Hawker and Kenneth "Kenny" Hawker and wife Connie, grandchildren, Ben Cooper and wife Kelli, Brittany Davis and Amanda Davis, great-grandchildren, Brayden Cooper and Bristol Cooper, special family and friends, Monica Beane, Nancy Haupt, Ruby Eagle and Genny Ellis, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Wayne Hawker and Patricia Beachley. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, on Thursday, May 22, 2014, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Rev. Joe Burdette will officiate.
