Faye Elizabeth McKay, 70 of Frederick, Maryland passed away, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, on May 15, 2014 peacefully, and in the loving care of her husband, John McKay. Faye was born in Frederick, Maryland to Monroe and Ruth Zimmerman on April 6, 1944. She attended Frederick High School and graduated in 1962. She provided financial coordination services for several Dentistry Professionals in the Frederick area both before and after her time spent as a licensed realtor. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, above all things, and her home is recognized by the State of Maryland Department of Natural Resources as a certified part of Maryland Wild Acres for the benefit and protection of Maryland's wildlife. In addition to her husband, Faye is survived by her two sons, Erik McKay and Casey McKay; daughters-in-law, Lynne and Sara McKay; granddaughter Morgan McKay and sister Helen Hargett, all of the Frederick County area. The family will receive friend on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 4-7pm at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Interment will be private at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
