Franklin Gordon "Banky" Waters Jr, 85 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his home. He was the husband of 58 years to the late Ardis J. (Study) Waters. Born October 14, 1928 he was the son of the late Franklin Gordon and Charlotte (Worthington) Waters. He was the owner and operator of Tollhouse Amaco located on 7th street in Frederick for many years. Banky is survived by his son Franklin G. Waters III and his wife Mary of Frederick; daughter Ann Craver of Frederick; his brother Lilburn Waters and wife Betty Jane of Columbus, Ohio; and grandchildren Taylor Gray Vigil and husband Mauricio, Christopher Gordon Waters and Samuel Gordon Craver all of Frederick. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 7-9pm at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 20 at 10 am at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick. The family will meet at the FSK chapel inside the cemetery gate to proceed to the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, Maryland 21702.
