Jay D. Stine

December 9, 1955 — December 13, 2013

Mr. Jay D. Stine, age 58 of Frederick, went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2013. Born on December 9, 1955 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Betty Burke Shook and the Grandson of the late Helen and Russell Burke. Mr. Stine was a graduate of Linganore High School in the class of 1973. Jay will be missed very much especially at the Carroll Creek Antiques, and many other businesses downtown. He treasured his uncle's rare 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. He will be deeply missed by his relatives, friends, coworkers and merchants. Mr. Stine is survived by two children, one brother, 3 half-brothers, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends will be received on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701 were services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Ben Webster will officiate. The interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery in Kemptown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist the family to Keeney and Basford Funeral Home at the above address.
