Dorothy Jean Goodrick, age 73 of Frederick passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Born on November 21, 1939 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Priscilla Bowser. She is survived by her daughter Shari Carpenter and husband Jeff of Silver Spring. She will be missed by Sean and Dandee, as well as countless friends and acquaintances. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11 AM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L St., NW, Washington, DC 20037, or to the local chapter, Frederick County Humane Society, 217 W. Patrick St., Frederick, MD 21701.
