Diane F. Wieder, 63, from Ellicott City, passed away October 24 with her three proud children by her bedside. A dedicated artist, she strived to convey feelings of joy and hope with the luminosity of glass sculptures and the beautiful colors in her acrylic & mixed media paintings. She is survived by family and friends who love her and will miss her spirit: her mother, Florence Wieder; father, Robert Wieder; her three children, Tonya Giannoni, Rana Caprarola, and Ivan Caprarola; her darling grandchildren, Sebastian, Gabriel, and Sophia; and siblings Jim Wieder, Bob Wieder, and Mary Baxter. A visitation will be held at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701 on Sunday, October 27 between 1pm and 4pm, immediately followed by a funeral service beginning at 4 PM. The interment will be private.
