Ms. Dixie M. (Saunders) Walter, 60, of Brunswick, died Monday, May 20, 2013, at her residence. Born on January 16, 1953, in Olney, she was the daughter of the late Ivey and Betty (Saunders) Rhodes. She is survived by her son, Thomas Walter, brother, Howard Saunders, sisters, Thelma Norris, Frances Burdette and husband Arnold and Hannah Murphy and husband Chris, grandchildren, Michael Walter, Jacob Walter, Sandy Walter and Emily Walter, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Golliday. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the Brunswick Vol. Amb. & Rescue, 200 W. Potomac Street, Brunswick, MD 21716. Pastor Amy Clark will officiate. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared to Frances Burdette (c/o Dixie Walter), PNC Bank. Online condolences may be shared at www.keeneybasford.com
