Mr. W. Remle Grove, age 79 of Frederick, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the devoted & loving husband for nearly 22 years of Jane Grove. Born on October 24, 1933 in Haddon Heights(Camden), New Jersey, he was the son of the late Walter L. and Esther B. Grove. Mr. Grove graduated from Juniata College, Huntingdon, PA in 1955. He worked for the Federal Government and retired after 43 years of service with the Food and Drug Administration. When he lived in Gaithersburg, Mr. Grove was an active member of the Grace Methodist Church, and after moving to Frederick, became a member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren for the past 22 years. He was a member of the Frederick Elks Club, lodge # 684. He enjoyed all sports especially cheering for the Washington Redskins. He also enjoyed the Baltimore Orioles. Mr. Grove enjoyed his summers in Beach Harbor, Grasonville. MD where he loved singing karaoke and simply enjoying life. Lastly, he enjoyed playing the piano and eating chocolate. Mr. Grove was the loving father of Susan Grove-Apple and husband Carey, (the late) Karen Martin and husband Mike, Brian Grove and wife Jennifer, and Rayna Norwood-Bowie, the grandfather of Amy Martin, Bryce Apple, Racheal Norwood, Raziel Norwood, and Davonte Pearson. He is additionally survived by his sister Marilyn Grove and brother in law Charles R. Norwood, Jr. and wife Nicky and there daughter Cheyenne. He will be missed by his loving pet dog Starr. He will also truly be missed by his friends every where. All services will be private.
