Carole E. Cramer

Mrs. Carole E. Cramer, 71, of Martinsburg, WV, formerly of Frederick, MD, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Born on June 6, 1941, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late John J. Keilholtz and the late Naomi Slifer Keilholtz Long. She was the wife of Charles P. Cramer for the past 54 years. Carole was an interior decorator/displayer with Home Interiors and Gifts for 25 years where she earned numerous awards and trips for her top sales. After retirement, she devoted her time to her grandchildren. She enjoyed walking, shopping, riding her bike, cooking, flowers, playing bingo and attending her grandchildren's basketball games. She also enjoyed attending Bedington United Methodist Church where she made many dear friends. She will always be remembered for her great love of her grandchildren, family and dogs. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Rosenwald and husband Jeff of Frederick, MD and Joy Shaw and husband Keith of Martinsburg, WV, grandchildren Kelsey, Sydney and Braden Shaw all of Martinsburg and sister Marie Woerner of Thurmont, MD. She was preceded in death by her sisters Betty Pacquet and Connie Martin. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27 from 5 to 8 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 28 at 1:00 PM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25403.
