Mr. Ira Rudell Becraft, 84, of Frederick, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at his residence. He will be missed by his devoted wife, Adelaide (Hartman) Becraft, Born on February 11, 1929, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Elmer and Nora (Mercer) Becraft. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Larry, John, Tammy and Wayne, brother, Donald, 6 grandchildren, great-grandaughter, Michaela Hartman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11am, on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am, on Thursday, March 7, 2013, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Pastor Aaron Hartman will officiate.
