Violet Virginia Clark

Miss Violet Virginia Clark, 95, of Frederick, died on Friday, December 28, 2012, at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Urbana on May 26, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Emma Hutchinson Clark. Miss Clark was a homemaker for most her life and she was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Burkittsville. Surviving her are nieces, Earlene Hart, Brenda Alwine, Jeannie Wilson and Shirley Mullican, nephew, Gene Clark, several cousins, including a special cousin, Patsy C. Grimes and husband Dickie. She will also be remembered by her devoted and loving care givers, Carol Heffner, Mary Alice Heffner, Louise Mort and Timmy Wiles. Miss Clark was preceded in death by one sister, Helen L Clark and seven brothers, George R. Clark, Lawrence W. Clark, William E. Clark, John A. Clark, Howard P. Clark, Lewis I. Clark and Thomas E. Clark. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour before the services. The Rev. Kimberly C. Nunberg, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, P. O. Box 400, Burkittsville, MD 21718.
