Iona Huffman

Mrs. Iona Frances Huffman, 84, of Frederick, MD, died Monday, August 6, 2012, at the Record Street Home. She was the wife of the late Ralph Emerson Huffman, Sr. Born on December 23, 1927, in Falling Rock, WV, she was the daughter of the late B. Frank and Lillie (Drake) Nichols. Mrs. Huffman was a resident of Clendenin, WV before she was resident of Record Street Home for the last eight years. She was an accomplished seamstress, who loved dogs. She attended the People's Baptist Church in Frederick. She is survived by her sons, Ralph E. Huffman, Jr. and wife Bonnie of Myersville, MD and Randolph N. Huffman and wife Sharon of Quick, WV, daughter-in-law, Delores Huffman of Quick, WV, grandchildren, Melissa Huffman, Ralph E. Huffman III and Tony Huffman, great-grandchildren, Audrey, Channa, Olivia Marie, Ralph IV and Trevor. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodger T. Huffman, brothers, Harry Nichols, Arthur Nichols, Bill Nichols and Clarence Nichols. All services will take place in Clendenin, WV.
