Matthew James

Mr. Matthew Paul James, of Glendale, CO, formerly of Frederick, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012. Born April 30, 1981, in Cumberland, he was the son of Deborah Harmon and boyfriend Stanley Guerra, step-father, William Harmon Jr. of Findlay, OH and biological father, Michael James of Newport News, VA. Matthew was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1999. He was a Senior Network Engineer for various local and national companies. In his spare time, he loved the outdoors and he was an avid hiker, skier and rock climber. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Yvonne "Bonnie" James of Meyersdale, PA, maternal grandparents, Harlan and Arvella Smith of Old Fields, WV, brother, Adam Wolford of Frederick, MD, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm, on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The memorial service and inurnment are private.
