Mr. Charles E. "Jim" Kline, Jr., 81, of Frederick, died on Friday, June 1, 2012, at the Northampton Manor Health Care Center. Born in Frederick, on March 21, 1931, he was a son of the late Charles Englebrecht, Sr., and Florence Gearinger Kline. Mr. Kline was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War. He had worked for many years at Sclars Junkyard on East Street, which today is known as the Recycle Center. Surviving him is one brother, Donald "Poodle" Kline and wife Martha, of Frederick, two grandchildren, Curtis and Tony Lemmons, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death, by his daughter, Florence "Dellie" Kline Gathers, a brother, David Kline, and seven sisters, Helen "Buzzie" Burdette, Mary "Annie" Miller, Margaret "Sitter" Oden, Beulah " Dedi" Harrison, Catherine "Hink" Snyder, Betty "Jack" Grove and Geraldine "Huddle" Main. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 7, 2012, in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
