Barbara A. Wenner

Mrs. Barbara A. Wenner, age 61, of Hagerstown, died early Wednesday morning, November 2, 2011 at her home. She was the wife for 36 years of the late William J. "Butch" Wenner, Jr. who passed away on January 14, 2007. Born on January 23, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Voine Bolinger and the foster daughter of the late Leroy and Hannah Baker.

Mrs. Wenner worked for 15 years at Airpax in Frederick. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and reading. She loved her family particularly her grandchildren.

She was the loving mother of Lisa M. Wenner of Hagerstown and William E. "Butch" Wenner and his wife Heidi of Boonsboro and the grandmother of Chelsea Wenner, Joshua Roberts, Harley Wenner and Destinee Wenner. Additionally she was the sister of Earl B. Bolinger, Vione L. Bolinger, Vernon D. Bolinger, Richard L. Bolinger, James Klipp, Joseph Klipp, Lee L. Robertson, Donna Brashears, Cathey Gravely, Patsy Klipp, Robert Bolinger, Donald L. Baker, and Jimmy V. Baker. She will be remembered fondly by a dear friend of the family Karessa Cameron as well as her Calico Cat "Skeeter."

Friends will be received on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11 AM. The Rev. Edward Hartman will officiate.
