Brenda Carol Shoemaker

Brenda Carol Shoemaker, 64, of Frederick, died Friday, June 4, 2010, at home. She was known to many as Mammaw. She is survived by a son, Johnny Shoemaker; a daughter, Melinda Vaughn and husband, Tracy; six grandchildren, J.T. Vaughn, Jenny Gieser and husband, Vince, Jack Vaughn, and Breann Haines and husband, Joey; three great-grandchildren, Marty Gieser and Christian and Kaylee Haines; a sister, Sylvia Springer; a neice, Barbara Johnson and husband, Kurt; and great-nephew, Tyler. She also leaves behind her beloved cats, Salem and Pepper. A brief memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at The Jeanne Bussard Center, 555 S. Market St., Frederick.
