Nancy Lee Boone

Mrs. Nancy Lee Boone, 75, of Frederick, died on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at her home. She was the wife of the late Richard Paul Boone. Born on July 24, 1935 in Westminster, she was a daughter of the late Louis V. and Etta Mae Garver. Mrs. Boone had worked at Frederick Office Supply and was a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, traveling to Ocean City and Charles Town, but most of all she had a great love for her entire family and especially her pet dog, Abby. She has attended FCF. Surviving her are seven children, Terry Garver, of Westminster, Richard Boone, Bonnie Boone and Pamela Boone, all of Frederick, Mark Boone and wife Turena, of Thomasville, PA, Michael Boone and wife Julie, of Thurmont and Debra Hall, of Falling Waters, West Virginia, one sister, Doris V. Garber, of Westminster, also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will also be remembered by a special friend like a daughter, Misty Shores, and best friends, Dorothy Tyeryar, Sandy Foland and Ronnie and Pam Marshall. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m., on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, April 21, from the funeral home. Pastor Janet Cregger, will offiiciate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
