Dr. Aime John Kennedy Kouame, 61, of Frederick, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Born April 5, 1964, in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire. He is the son of Shimon Kouame and the late Ange Kablan.
Dr. John served in the US Army Reserves for 8 years. He owned and operated his medical practice in Washington, D.C. called Dr. John Healing Center. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and active in St. John's Catholic Church.
In addition to his father, Dr. John is survived by his sister, Marie Amond and husband Jean Jacques and brother, Eric Kouame, cousins, Edouard Brou and family and Emma Tebi and family, numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:30am to 10:30am, on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, at St. John's Catholic Church, 118 E. 2nd Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Interment will follow at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.
