Alicia Ann O’Connor Raymond

Alicia Ann O’Connor Raymond, age 74, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 10, 1950, in Hoboken, New Jersey, Alicia was the daughter of the late Evelyn Marie O’Connor and the late John Joseph O’Connor.
In her early childhood, the family moved to Fort Lee, New Jersey, where Alicia and her sisters, Janice (Feeley) and Eileen (Montanaro), were raised. She attended Madonna School in Fort Lee and graduated from the Academy of the Holy Angels in Demarest, New Jersey, in 1968. Alicia went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Villanova University in 1972.
Alicia had a deep calling to care for others and dedicated her career to nursing. She began her work at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and later practiced in several obstetrics and gynecology offices in Southern California.
Above all, Alicia loved her family, especially her twin daughters, Sea and Jessica. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering thoughtfulness. A devoted animal lover, Alicia cared for many dogs over the years, including her beloved Malteses Mia and Simon.
Alicia is survived by her daughters, Sea Charchalis (Jonathan Whitting) and Jessica Charchalis (Rob Houck); her cherished grandchildren, Sadie Koonce, Savannah Houck, and Ryder Minnick; her sisters, Janice Feeley and Eileen Montanaro (Douglas); her loving partner, Ed House; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and John O’Connor, her husband, Ray Raymond, and her brother-in-law, Jack Feeley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Frederick, Maryland on Friday, September 5th at 11:30 AM. Alicia’s warmth, compassion, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
