Betty Jane Smith

Betty Jane Smith, age 73, of Frederick passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Born on April 7, 1947 in Frederick she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Cook.

Betty worked as a waitress for most of her life. She greatly enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley, playing bingo, and doing crafts.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Jenkins, siblings Georgette Reed, Dorothy Cook, and David “Sam” Cook, and grandchildren Connie and Kevin Mays. She was preceded in death by sister Jessie Cook.

Interment will be private in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
