Betty Jane Stone

Mrs. Betty Jane Stone 89, of Frederick, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert Stone. Born in Union Bridge on January 17, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Emma Mercer.
Betty was a bus driver for the Frederick County Public Schools and she enjoyed her visit's to Charles Town.
Surviving are her children, Patricia A. Keyser and husband Larry, of Frederick, Robert M. Stone, of Boonsboro, and her many loving, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Betty will be remembered by many friends, including, her special friend Ruby Eagle. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Robin Stone and Barbara Stone.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, February 22, 2021, in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick. Social distancing and masks will be in affect.
