Ms. Beverly R. Pease, of Frederick, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025, surrounded by family. She was 81 years old.
Born on January 12, 1944, in Takoma Park, MD, Beverly was a beloved daughter, mom, grandma, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Lucy Roden, son, Kevin Pease and brother, Roger Roden.
Beginning in childhood, she endured many years of failing health, but she rarely complained about life's trials and struggles or judged another soul. With the help of her parents, Beverly raised her 2 sons Dan and Kevin on a limited income, working graveyard shifts to support them. She had little to no health insurance for herself, but made sure her boys were well taken care of. This meant years of untreated severe asthma. In the last several years, daughter-in-law Pamela was Beverly’s main caretaker and they developed a close bond that will always be cherished. Beverly’s sacrifice was nothing but selfless.
She truly lived her life as taught by the Savior. Her passions in life were church, family, sports (mainly baseball & football), talk radio, reading, and crafts. She lived in the Hyattsville and College Park area of Maryland most of her life and moved to Frederick 15 years ago. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and devoted her life to the Lord. She blessed thousands through the years with music as a pianist/organist for the church for 65 years.
Beverly is survived by her devoted son, Daniel Pease, his wife, Pamela, and granddaughter, Abigail Pease, all of Jefferson, MD.
The family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm on Saturday, Sept. 20 th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 199 North Place, Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will follow at 12pm with refreshments and visiting immediately after the service.
